That is a preventable loss that basically 100 percent falls on bad game management. Very frustrating to watch as a fan

Really hope someone calls out Montoyo for being a p***y ass bitch. He doesnt have the balls to be a top dog. You don't let your players hissy fits impact your decision making out of fear.

Montoyo is an idiot plain and simple. Why did he pull Stripling in the 1st game with only 67 pitches no reason to waste the bullpen but Charlie going to Charlie

Yeah Matz got in trouble but it was an error that started then a line drive off his glove. 69 pitches and Matz gets pulled. He could have gotten out of that inning and should have been allowed to do it. Nope Charlie takes him out and basically only has Chatwood to finish off the 6th and 7th cause he wasted Dolis and Romano in the 1st game when his started was at 67 pitches. If you are at 67 pitches thru 5 it means you have that teams number and go screw the spreadsheet and third time thru.

Baffling decisions by Charlie again cost the team. When they finish out of the playoffs by 3 games you can pinpoint at least 10 games where he Montoyod the Jays.

All i remember about Wells is he signed that massive contract after the 2006 season and was basically never the same player afterwards. Oh, that and they traded him for Mike Napoli...who'd they proceed to trade days later to Texas where he'd go on to become a key contributor to a world series team. Fun

Shame. Those mid 2000s Jays teams were...oddly constructed but they were pretty fun to watch.
