Foot doesn’t have to be on the rubber as long as it’s a natural part of his delivery.
That's pretty typical. Money always talks loudest in the end. It's actually super rare to have someone like Ray who agrees to play in Toronto before they even talk about the numbers.
I don't think that was a balk. Just looked odd. Edit- it was a balk after rereading the rule. You aren't allowed to deliver a pitch while disengaged from the rubber. Cant say I've ever seen that before.
I was wrong on my edit. Now I'm seeing that it's a balk if the pitcher makes any motion naturally associated with his pitch while he is not touching the pitchers plate. Seems like every time I think I've figured out the balk rule, I havent figured it out.How are we defining that as a pitch though? Are you not allowed to throw home as a non pitch unless someone is trying to steal home?
Can you step off and throw to 3rd when there's a runner on 1st?
Looked like Sano agreed with you….Hey! Minnesota Twins, can you start your offseason already and let us go to the playoffs.
2016 wasn't that long ago lol please don't make me feel oldBiggest late season series in a long damn time coming up against the Yankees. Those Bautista playoff teams were good but they were never in this tight of a race into the last week of the season. They had built up more comfortable leads by now.
Just having espinal and jansen ahead of grichuk paid dividends.Charlie managed this game to perfection.
Got to give credit where it is due. Hopefully this continues over the rest of the season.
