Really wish that a hbp required actually being hit. Having a ball graze your super baggy uniform is not what that rule exists for.
 
Hate the HBP rule at times. Brushes your jersey/pants and it hit you. I understand why the rule is the way it is, but it's so silly in cases like this.

Flirting with it all night. Threw far too many unnecessary pitches and was missing strike 1.
 
Man I don't think anyone needed a hit like that more than George. If the Jays want to really make a push with Gurriel sidelined, Springer getting his mojo back would mean the world to the team

He has the worst at bats.

Most of his at bats end in strike outs , pop ups, or GIDP. He doesn't work the count or draw walks so he's pretty much useless. Upgrading/adding a back up CF option needs to be one on the Jays top priorities this winter.

Do you think Bo would be willing to move to short if the Jays go for a Javy Baez or Correra? I feel like Bo is going to be a Jeter-esque shortstop where he's elite with the bat but crappy with the glove

3B, signing one of Ray/Semien, and the bullpen are definitely the top priorities imo
 



Never understood why MLB doesn’t have regulated fields, epuipment, walls and now, evidently foul poles.

To me this ball might have split the foul pole. If the foul pole was solid metal or a net then we would have a definitive answer.

Not sure how I feel using a guy like Richards with such a big lead in the 9th and another game earlier in the day tomorrow....then again, when you're on a 3-game slide you gotta make sure you win the fu***** game

I wouldn’t use Richards here but I get why. Need the win and have an off day on Monday so empty the chamber today and tomorrow.
