I hate to say it guys, but I think the clock has struck midnight on our playoff chances.
Lol okay let's not exaggerate too much. This game isn't over, this is the first game of a 4-game series and all that's needed is to beat the ailing YankeesI hate to say it guys, but I think the clock has struck midnight on our playoff chances.
The long men in this staff is very questionable. Stripling is guaranteed to give us multiple runs every time he comes on and Merryweather has given up a 3-run jack both times he's come on in big situations. Pearson probably isn't too reliable at this moment eitherWhen a starter can't go deep, that's where it breaks down. I guess that's true for most teams.
Cause we're being careful with our pitchers so they don't get hurt by pitching too much. How's that been working....Hatch, Merryweather, Soria, Ryu...all injured anyways. IT'S THE LAST 10 GAMES OF THE SEASON. pitch the best 4 till their arms fall off dammit. Why the f*** didn't we go to cimber?
That didn't look like a good decision to send him home
Cimber hasn't even pitched since the 18th. He was definitely good for two innings tonight. Gotta treat every game like a must win right now because you can't expect the other teams to lose.Cause we're being careful with our pitchers so they don't get hurt by pitching too much.
