Grichuk swinging at ball 4 that wasn't even close and Jansen getting called for strike 3 that was actually ball 4 is annoying
 
Grichuk shows why we signed Springer. Montoyo should’ve started Kirk tbh.

Perhaps but that first AB from Jansen is not an example of that. Worked Cole to an 8 pitch at bat that ended with ball 4 that was called strike 3. That was a fine at bat. You're going to get out against Cole 3/4 of the time, when you make him throw 8 pitches to get lucky to get you out it's fine.
 
Of course they hit a homerun when Ryu should have been out of the inning

There was at least one pitch close to the middle of the plate that Jansen fouled off which Kirk may have hit.
 
I was a little surprised Ryu tried to sneak a first pitch fastball by someone like Sanchez, even if the Yankees have visibly been sitting on the changeup early on.
 
How's anyone supposed to Derek Jeter their way into the stands to catch a ball with these damn screens in the way :sarcasm:

Those nets would’ve killed Jeters ability to catch a ball in fair territory and run 50 feet to then throw himself into the stands head first. A shame really.
