The wheels fell off when Brink shot a foot wide on a wide open net when it was 1-1.

Agreed. The wheels fell off when Brink shot a foot wide on a wide open next when it was 1-1.
For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t break up Boldy-Beniers-Caufield. I’d try Zegras-Turcotte-Brink/Brisson
Think LaCombe has to be replaced by Kleven or Skinner.
That last faceoff sucked.I'd like to see Zegras away from Turcotte. Let them both carry a line. I didn't notice either of them all game until Zegras scored and that can't happen. Their line was outclassed and playing catchup all night. Does anyone know Turcotte's face off stats?

Overall a garbage performance, but at least the team showed life in 3rd and clawed back into it. When your time barely shows up and your goalie keeps gifting the puck and/or goals to the other team, it's going to be hard to win.
Wolf should be the starting goalie. Knight was bad in the exhibition and even worse tonight. He doesn't deserve more time to figure it out.
Boldy was our best player tonight. His puck control down low was phenomenal.
PP breakout and setup needs some major work. They seemed surprised that Russia was pressuring the puck on the PK.
There was no call, but Slaggert is probably getting a game for his late hit on Podkolzin.
A lot of talk from Leaman about line shuffling, etc., but I certainly didn't see enough of it tonight.

He was 6 for 15I think he lost the one on the PP prior as well, and that delayed them pulling Wolf. I could be wrong, but that also could explain why that line was playing defense the entire night.
Edit: I see your post above. Yikes.

Switch Thrun with York and it's my exact listI've liked what I've seen from Caufield, Turcotte, Faber, Thrun, and Wolf.
The first 3 goals may not necessarily be his fault, but you need your goalie to make some saves, some of which are difficultI hope they give Knight another shot vs Austria, mostly for my drafts sake, while that last goal was terrible for him, you can't really blame him for the 3rd goal when Sanderson gave the puck away in the open slot.
This is why Turcotte is a stud, he's a positive game in and out because of what he does away from the puck.Turcotte wasn’t noticeable but I still saw him doing a lot of really good things away from the puck.
