Fox controlled time and space in a different way than I've seen Jones do it (10 mins max). There's an awareness component some guys just have so they don't get creamed. My whopping 8-10 mins of Zac Jones film does not support that assertion.

This is not a team that can shelter someone who can't really hack it physically because of how big and tough they are overall. JMO.

It's not so much a getting creamed thing that I'm worried about, it's about not getting tied up in the first place (which is what Fox does so well.)

That said, I'm a helllll of a lot more confident in Jones' ability to handle pressure at the NHL level than I am with Nils.

It positively affects his trade value. Buffalo isn't interested in Jones in an Eichel deal, for example, without the ELC in place.
