Forget TDL updates, I expect him to bust out with the soundtrack for Hamilton.

I'd pay good money to see him make TDL updates TO the soundtrack of Hamilton.

Yeah maybe. Lemmy requested the trade though. We are deeper in D and wingers. Thought we could find a center to target even if it was in the AHL with bottom 6 upside. Someone to challenge Howden for a roster spot. Maybe that’s Barron though.

Laughton is the type of guy who would benefit this team. Hovers around 51% career on face offs. Some years up, some down. Can chip in, good defensively, tough, can slide up the lineup. Probably will get overpaid this summer if PHI doesn’t get the extension done.

Barron came into this season seen as a guy who could push Lemieux and Howden. I'd say that still holds true, especially with the Rangers giving him looks at center down in the AHL.

not sure what’s worse lol

5 years 3M cap hit. Honestly not bad. A bit overpaid, sure but he’s a solid bottom six guy who can play anywhere. Kind of like their Fast but tougher. He’s only 26 so they’ll get his best years and by the time the contract is winding down 3M will be nothing on the cap.

I had the feeling it would be extremely busy or extremely quiet due to this season’s circumstances and the overall flat cap. I’m kinda surprised more teams aren’t making purely cap related moves. I’m guessing that’ll come over the summer.
