St. Louis will be sending their prospects to Utica:

Translation: The Canadian Division will have to negotiate amongst themselves on how many games they will play. From what I hear, they are looking at a 36-game season, where the teams play each other 12 times. The league asks teams to play a minimum of 24 games.

3 teams opting out. That's a lot of players to find homes for although it looked like Florida were working on this long ago with some of their top prospects in Europe already. The NHL taxi squad and the fact they have a very thin depth chart will help. Milwaukee may be in the same boat.

Springfield, I can understand why, if it's got something to do with the case counts in MA, the curious move is Providence to Marlborough?

if Worcester opted out, and they did, which means DCU isn't available and hasn't been realistically since the fall surge.
