They can write up any lawsuit they want, but there's no chance they would win.
I picture the Gorilla Glue Girl failing at her initial legal gambit, then reading this thread & moving to New York to launch another social media campaign.

Funny you should bring her up...Am I the only one who noticed that in the beginning when this was just coming out as a story and she was talking about it for the first time, she talked about how painful it was and how she couldn't sleep etc...take a look at the photos of her in the red sweatshirt and her pony tail...notice she has normal nails etc just those ridiculous eyelashes....then look at the photo of her arriving in LA for the procedure to get rid of the glue...she was in terrible pain but not so much that she couldn't go out and get her nails all done up etc...and now she's talking about filing a lawsuit for being stupid enough to put gorilla GLUE in her hair. You really can't fix stupid!! That's like putting bullets in a gun...pointing at yourself and pulling the trigger then suing the gun maker because their gun almost killed you

After their February schedules were already released. :shakehead
Gives her another 2+ weeks of goodwill from the Ontario hockey community, during which time she will redefine what return-to-play in a "safe and measured way" means to her. This isn't a done deal.

Laval is gonna be a handful for the other Canadian Division teams. The Canadiens have the AHL roster stacked with talent right now.

It's the Joel Bouchard effect. The guy is the type of coach players are willing to go through a wall for. A big part of their game is going hard on the forecheck and cause fits to the opponent.

Also, they have a roster of 34 players, and they don't have anywhere to send some guys in the ECHL. Even if they haven't had an ECHL affiliate the last two years, they still found places to assign some players there. But because many teams opted out of the ECHL season this year, there isn't room to assign guys. So the coaching staff has the daunting task of figuring out how to handle a 34-man roster.

Have them circle the block around Place Bell on game nights in a 10-passenger van, and flag them down during any injury timeout. Just be sure to have the rubber pad runway set up between the street & the bench, so the subs don't dull their blades. :badidea:

Anyone noticing the significant drop-off in shootout games this year? Something like 2% of all games so far, compared to the more typical 9-10%.

No but the quality of play is low. There should be more tweeners in the AHL (I.e Comtois or Norris/Batherson last season) that dominate on a nightly basis. It’s sloppy hockey with less skill because of the ECHLers. The taxi squad has sucked up the skill.

The teams had very little time to prep for game play, and the League has only played 2 weeks worth of hockey so far. Maybe we oughta give the competitive balance & the math some time to catch up. :eyeroll:

and it's a short season by definition between 18-40 games and three are out for the year, another 2-3 are in a temporary setting (PRO/BNG).....

Halfway through the 2nd period, Toronto up 5-0. And this after they registered zero SOGs in the first 9+ minutes of the opening frame. Stockton Heat ...

The Heat were excellent last season... much better than the Marlies but if you look at roster today it’s devoid of star AHL players or vets.

Only M.Phillips is left from the top players last season. And the D looks awful.

The Heat score their first goal of the season on a power play with 7:22 left. Just 6 more goals & they can tie it ... as long a the Marlies don't score again ...

Final score from Stockt..........I mean, from Calgary..........Marlies 7 - Heat 1. One game under their 2021 sweaters, and nowhere to go but up for the Flames' hopeful taxi squad members.
