I dunno, San Jose takes a lot of players like this high in the draft. They end up playing like Tarzan in the regular season, like Jane in the playoffs.

I mean that’s the entire Sharks team in a nutsack.

This is the part I like:

Brandt Clarke reminds me of Dougie Hamilton. Hamilton is a bit bigger in size, but his game is quite similar to Clarke. Elite puck mover with high offensive upside. Like the Carolina Hurricanes defenseman, he thrives in the defensive zone and is highly effective at trapping attackers and taking away lanes

Kinda sucks that Clarke's biggest knock is his skating is below average. Not an easy thing to improve. Especially for an offensive Dman in the NHL where you need to have good wheels and agility to be successful in the NHL.

His highlight video they're showing just shows him skating back and forth.

At least we know he has legs.

Seems like they were going to take defense regardless. Not sure they went BPA on their board but we'll see how this plays out.
