Not sure what browser you use, but i use ublock origin for adblock on my PC and it is fantastic. I didn't know youtube or HF even had ads. When I had hulu, it was skipping those as well.

yeah, pc is fine with chrome and adblock. it's mobile that blows. i don't mind an ad here and there, it's the constant bouncing and interfering with the ability to comment.

I read he is a boom or bust type pick. If he pans out though, it would be huge for our rhd depth. He’s got a sick one-timer too on the left side. Something we’ve really been missing since Seguin’s bombs a few seasons ago

I searched my brain for the last guy on the stars who could absolutely just crush a slapper, and I came up with Phillipe Boucher. I think it's one of those skills that seems to be less and less used by a newer generation of hockey players, guess just because goalies are so hard to score on from far away, but they're so satisfying when they happen. For my money, I think Guryanov has the best one-timer on the team, Seguin might still have the best pure slapshot, but my memory is fuzzy since it's been a while.

Going to guess Othmann in the first round. A few large defenders in the middle rounds. A larger athletic goalie at some point. At least 1 Finn somewhere and a late round pick on a Kamloops Blazer.

Biggest fall on draft day: Fabian Lysell (gets taken somewhere between 18 to 25)
Biggest riser on draft day: Wyatt Johnston (sneaks into the 25-31 range)

Nill pls take Kalle Väisänen with a late round pick. Purely because it would be nice to have a prospect from my local Finnish team in the Stars system :DD

Ceulemans top 10 talent

Well, like just about everyone else not in the top 10, some have questions. An Athletic article mentions a rare tool kit and lack of hockey sense, which always scares me a bit. Of course, he could be a smaller, better version of Oleksiak, which isn't bad for the 14th pick (which Jamie was as well)

And, some describe Lambos as more of a Lindell lite, whose performance this year went down, and with no offense to speak of, which might put him on a third pair somewhere, or maybe a second pair.

Of course, draft day is for hope, but the reality is we will probably get an NHL player at 14, but not a super star, and its always a crap shoot. That said, I will be watching tonight.

Would not be surprised if stars reached for one of the Swedish prospects like olaussen , stromgren or Rosen . It’s a fairly deep Swedish pool this year .

Ceulemans was just so awesome in every game I saw. I know he's probably a reach, but I'd still be really excited. I hate reaching on wingers more then other positions, at least with a center or a toolsy defender you can point to positional value and asset scarcity. You'd love a guy like Stromgren in the 2nd but at 14 you'd be pretty sad.

I think he’s gonna go top 10 tbh

I doubt it, there is enough good players to fill the top 10, even without Coronato or Sillinger. And I’m sure one GM will opt for a goalie as well before Dallas’ pick.

I know Chaz Lucius and Stankoven get the most love for their name, but Jimi Suomi has an underrated name especially for the Finnish heavy Dallas organization (Suomi translates to Finland). Having a guy named Jimmy Finland in the organization would be kind of funny.

The name would be fun, not sure I’d invest anything more than a 6th on him though. I doubt he ever makes it even in the AHL.

Oh, me neither. Not interested in drafting him at all. Just killing time and re-watching the u18 semifinal this morning, I'd never noticed the name before and thought it was funny.

Sheldon Souray

Good memory, too bad he really didn't do that for the Stars at the time. I completely forgot this, but we signed him out of Edmonton's AHL team. I think this was back when you could just bury salary in the AHL without consequence, and Souray made too much money.

Edit: My vote is for Red Savage. It would sound super racist if it wasn't just someone's name.
