Oilers only spending 2.5mil on Skinner.. I just dont think Skinner is the guy that can get you to the cup. Last season .901 save pct got them to game 7.. A better goalie probably gets them over the hump. He will always be a bit of an achilles heal for them.

Skinner has poor technique and positioning. If he was a 6'1" goalie, he would be lit up like crazy. His size makes a lot of save for him if he doesn't move much. For goalie IQ, Skinner is dumb!

I honestly detest them more than the fanbase of any other team (so much so that I'm banned from HF Oilers) because their support for Skinner validates management's blind faith in such a pitiful starter who has arguably cost the McDrai Oilers two cups and counting...
