How much of it is Staley vis a vis the players? Feels like a lot of coordinators could do this well for a team that admittedly had the #1 scoring defense albeit only because of Miami’s week 17 debacle at Buffalo
imo hiring Staley is the best decision McVay has made since taking over. Obviously the personnel is there but we consistently see teams with talented defensive rosters get picked apart. In a league where defence matters less and less, the Rams have won multiple games through their back end.

Of course they were the 1 seed and had homefield advantage (when the Broncos was mostly great for roughly 40 years, Denver was the hardest place for any AFC team to play at)

Yep. Belichick's worst coaching year (Not statistically mind you) might've been 2015. Kicking off to the Jets after winning the coin toss. Punting against Miami from the start. Season finale.

If that AFC title game is in Foxboro instead of Denver, I'm betting there's a very good chance the Patriots have 7 SB's right now.

But to your point...Denver had that crowd behind them.

IDK how anyone could believe that. Schotty Jr has sucked going back to his days as Jets OC

Let’s not forget the Eagle game where they gave up touchdowns on a blocked punt, pick six, and punt return.

Brian Schottenheimer stink today, offense all sorts of bad.

Did Schottenheimer really think Marty ball would work? How many run plays today?

Seahawks aren't going to have enough time on the clock to get 14 points.

An injured Goff has outplayed the QB that so many consider the greatest ever.

I guess McVay apparently didn’t forget how to coach.

After the SB debacle and missing the playoffs, seemed like everyone wrote him off.

It'll be interesting to see how that Rams defense does against a team with a pulse like the Packers.

They're definitely not to be ****ed with but they've also had it easier than many expecting with Russ "cooking" shit for lunch.
