Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I’m so happy for these guys. Many of them trusted in Slovak hockey federation with the U18 project and it has paid off thus far. No matter the result tomorrow the boys should hold their heads high for a great tournament.

I don’t think anyone will beat this Russian team, including if the American or Canadian A-squads were playing. They’ve been the best country so far in this age group. It’s not only Michkov and Miroshnichenko. Their goalie is very good, they have many other good forwards, and their defense isn’t bad either.

Great game between Russia and Sweden! Great comeback by Russia, after it looked like, for the first 30 minutes, Sweden was going to dominate. Russia took some heavy hits from Sweden and just kept fighting, kind of refusing to lose. It sets up what looks to be a great match with the Slovaks.

Great to see Slovakia being dominant after all these years. Hope this is actually a sign of improvement and that this tournament isn't just an odd hiccup.

Naturally! And they should feel obliged to broadcast it on regular Slovak TV. (Pretty disgraceful they didn't do that for today's game already. It had over 26,000 viewers on the live YouTube stream.)
