Rodgers and Manning and whomever may be more “talented,” but all Brady does is win. And that’s what matters. No doubt he’s the goat. You start a franchise and you pick Brady without question.

He became a GOAT after winning #5. These last 2 are making sure no one catches him any time soon.

i tried to avoid the media hoopla for almost two weeks and then tuned in on Friday. NFL on Sirius predicting Mahomes will win at least 7 or 8 Super Bowls and race past Brady. I shut it off and here we are with Brady winning again.

Looking forward to experts proclaiming Trevor Lawrence will win more Super Bowls than Brady before taking a snap under center.

This is just another example of how the QB is probably the most important position in team sports. If TB has Winston, then they likely don't even make the playoffs. If you don't have that position nailed down, then you aren't going anywhere.

Gotta have some action for the game and so the call for me is:

Chiefs -3 for $100 which would win $83
Over 55 for $100 which would win $87

I might be just throwing away $200 but F it, no way on gods green earth can I root for Brady and want him too do well. It's bad enough that we have to watch his pansy ass for the zillionth time in the SB. Not a chance in hell could I root for him to win it again....F him! I'd rather lose 100 or 200 than see Brady happy and have won another SB...F that!....lol

So go Chiefs and hopefully Mahomes has a great day...fingers crossed!...

Yikes... better luck next time.

I probably would've made the same bets.

I had a weird feeling about last night that turned out to be right. Gronk first TD parlayed with Bucs moneyline and the Under. 56 to 1 on that!

Hopefully Wentz getting traded opens up the QB market and we see a lot of movement. Still don’t know what the Jets are going to do. Sounds like they’re listening on Darnold at the very least.

Why was Mahomes being compared to Brady anyway? Like there was this Brady Vs Mahomes thing where everything Mahomes does is only compared to Brady. Mahomes is great but come on now

That was his first double digit loss as a starter since he was in college. As an NFL starter he lost in the AFC championship game in OT, won a superbowl and lost a superbowl. I don't know how his career will go from here but despite the loss he's off to a good start.

I agree but why is everything he does being compared to Brady? They were saying it last night in the post game, talking about Brady is 1-0 on Mahomes or 7-1 whatever it was. Mahomes will be lucky to make it to 7 superbowls, let alone win 7.

My guess is they hang onto Sam and build around him unless they absolutely are dead set and love Wilson. I don't see them investing in Fields. It's possible, but the longer this goes without news, I think they keep Darnold and trade down, unless Houston gives up and decides to move Watson. Watson is interesting... you hear nothing, but positive things about him and his leadership but it really aggravates me when a guy takes the money and demands a trade like that. You still have to kick the tires if he's available though. I don't see where they'd get a guy that could absent a miracle they haven't had since Namath.

I take early Namath, pre knee injuries turning him gimpy.

Better arm, better QB, and enough of the x factor.

But that's me.
I get people can disagree in good faith on that one.

I luv Namath as much as anyone Bern and tho I'm barely old enough to remember him as a kid in like '72 or so when Joe Willie was still pretty good. And sure I've seen highlight packages of him in his prime, but as much as I hate and detest Brady, I can't in good go conscious go long with your line of thinking.

Namath might have had one of the greatest arms of any QB in NFL history and as talented as he was, he made tons of bird brain mistakes due to him not exactly, oh how do I put it gently...he wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. And tons of INT's resulted and Jets lost alot of games they should have won due to Namath's reliance on his arm and not his brain!.

That all said, I'd take Elway and Montana over Brady but I'm probably just as much in the minority about them as you are about Namath...lol.

He won 4 games on a roster with little talent. Jets won 2 and should have defeated Oakland.

With a more talented roster the Jets might win more with Watson but all that talent is coming from free agent mercenaries b/c the Texans are taking many top draft choices.

You know what I'm starting to think and this is a change from the "draft Sewell" at #2 if we don't trade down. I'm starting to think that unless Joe gets the motherload for the #2 pick and by motherload I mean a few #1 picks and some 2's depending upon how far they traded down, I'm starting to get the warm and fuzzies for us drafting Wilson instead of Sewell.

Been reading some really really glowing things about him and been watching too many YT highlight reels and I'm kind of getting the feeling that in a "Shanahan West Coast" offense that will be installed, Wilson might flourish even as a rookie.

I dunno, whatever Joe does, I'll be OK with cause I trust his evaluation skills more than anyone the Jets have had since Parcells. But I'm starting to get the feeling we are either trading down or taking Wilson which oddly compared to just a month ago when I was all over the we have to pick Sewell, I'd be more than OK with.

Optimally Douglas trades down a few slots to maybe 5, we get some more valuable draft capital and Wilson is still there for us to take....hmmmm

If i was joe, i would keep darnold unless someone blows u away with an offer.

then i would try to trade down a couple spits to pick up lore draft capital. Finally inwould draft either a stud WR or OL if available.

as we saw in the super bowl. If u have a crap OL, it dont matter who your QB is.

load up on the draft this year and next. And then if we still suck at qb, u draft one then when u have a proper supporting cast

QB or elite pass rusher in the top 4. Otherwise, get out, Wirfs down in Tampa have up one sack all year.
