Idk if anybody else remembers, if there's any chance of finding it, or even if it was true, but back when Holland was first hired, I distinctly remember reading from an HF approved source that McDavid said he'd give Holland two years to turn the Oilers around. We are now entering year three.

And if we didnt do so well this past year, I wouldn't have faulted Barky if he wanted to leave.

I think Francis did well, he said he values cap space and he said he also wants to be a player in free agency so he has lots of room.

Definitely gonna be 2-3 side deals too.
In saying that, they did reach on some picks imo but maybe that's because they got paid to and info hasn't been released?
