Which is headed to Salt Lake City...Provocateurs. I had one once, in Paris, but then the police traded the place and I had to flee the country
Isn't Arizona headed to Huston?

McDavid missed half the year, Crosby was competing against another #1 pick and fellow generational talent. JT and Stamkos were not on this level as prospects by draft day, Stamkos was getting like 10 minutes a game early on.
If Bedard stays healthy I'd be very surprised if he doesn't win it.
I dont disagree with you for the most part (JT was extremely hyped up as a prospect and Stammer had the "Seen Stamkos"? campaign before he was ever even drafted to Tampa) but I just wanted to demonstrate how "its a lock" is false.McDavid missed half the year, Crosby was competing against another #1 pick and fellow generational talent. So knies can't pay on ArizonaWhich is headed to Salt Lake City...
Ya it’s called college girlsIf he doesn't sign now, it will be because he really enjoys the college experience and wants to stay another year, not because he's evil or hates the Leafs. There is an appeal of NCAA sports for American kids that many Canadians don't understand.
So knies can't pay on Arizona
No guarantees that any player stays healthy. I would concur, that Bedard is the out of the clubhouse favourite to in it next year... but weird things and injuries happen, and it's possible that Knies could find himself on a very favourable line, if things click. I think I'd be comfortable saying, Knies could find himself in the voting for the Calder, if things click for him with one of the top two lines. A set of unlikely scenarios, could see him better that.
Kinda. The Leafs are allowed to sign him now, but they will wait to his season ends.I agree
I don’t understand all the pessimism of signing him and wanting to trade when nothing has happened.
Leafs have not signed their prospect because they are not allowed until season ends
Am I missing something?
Arizona might try and wait till August 2025, or trade for him. He's headed to Arizona, there are red flags, innuendo and hints ...
A 3rd liner has more potential to make money in Toronto than Arizona? Do tell?
One of the things that he is using to dominate in the NCAA will be a non factor in the NHL, I think you are getting caught up in the Knies hype. Time will tell.
Ya it’s called college girls
Bedard is a somewhat slight build too...82 games at his age and build can be tough.
Marner was amazing at avoiding contact (but playing in traffic) and still missed 5 games in his rookie campaign.
Bedard probably gets even more TOI and Marner got to go back for another year to the OHL and physically mature even more.
185 pounds at 5"10 isn't really slight. Marner is 6'0 and he's 175
I don't believe that weight on Bedard nor Marner.
Lol.maybe they are friendlier in MinnieAh yes, you can't find anyone matching that description in Toronto.
Ya it’s called college girls
Are you surprised he wouldn't know?Pretty sure we have more than our fair share in Canada.
Really, would you care to elaborate on this comment. What are you implying? Are you surprised he wouldn't know?
I wouldn't trust the heights either. No way Marner is 6'Why not? You think Marner weighs less than that at his height?
We invented the puck bunny goddamn itPretty sure we have more than our fair share in Canada.
Interesting that some think he isn’t deserving.Matthew Knies | Minnesota | Sophomore left wing
There's one every year, and Knies is this season's most controversial finalist, judging by the reactions after the top three were unveiled.
Still, he is a very, very good player. A physical, talented scorer and do-it-all presence, Knies has a bright professional career ahead of him when he inevitably signs with the Leafs, who selected him in the 2021 second round (57th overall).
FROZEN FOUR: Here's everything you need to know ahead of this year's Men's Frozen Four
The Big Ten Player of the Year, Knies tied Snuggerud for the team lead with 21 goals (ninth in the nation). He was a point-per-game player for a second straight season, putting up 41 in 38 games, which is tied for 18th in Division I.
A third of the ever-dangerous top line with Cooley and Snuggerud, Knies is tied for the national lead in game-winning goals with seven, and his two shorthanded goals are tied for the third-highest total in college hockey. He has averaged a goal every other game, scoring in 19 of 38 and powering the Gophers to a 17-2-0 mark when he nets at least a goal.

Interesting that some think he isn’t deserving.
It doesn’t take away what I think he can be, but I just find it interesting he’s controversial. That might be a motivator that pushes him to continuously prove himself.
I'm okay with that.
