The four horsemen, 11, 32, 8 and 23. New king Legends who will become the most important Kings players to the franchise as time goes on. The guys who won us two cups.

Agree but tough to be up 3-2 in the series and then play 5 good minutes the final 120.

Honestly, kudos and shoutout to Ollie Maatta. He's been a punching bag, but he was defensively pretty solid and stabilizing back there. Edler, Stetcher, and Maatta played some very awesome defense for us down the stretch.

Kings had no answer for McDavid. It's obvious how badly he wanted to win this series. Worth taking the time to admire the amazing series he had against two top defensive center men. Absolutely unstoppable. Hats off to Connor McDavid.

Hats off to the Kings for getting here. They're building something here, and it's gonna be better next year. Find us another diamond in the rough, Blake. The Kings are coming.

I didn’t want to reply- but had to for this. LaBamba is for Joey Moss- who had Down’s syndrome. He worked on the Oilers staff since the Gretzky Days. In fact, Wayne was the one who brought him in. The Oilers have him a chance when no one else did- and the team became his everything. LaBamba was his favourite song. He passed this year- so they play it for him. Sometimes being human is more important at than being a fan

Needed Bjornfot back too. We have a solid team that can't really afford injuries to key players because our prospects aren't flashing high end potential. We need at least one of these players to make strides in the offseason. And then we need a goal scorer from outside the org.

The goalie problem looming is a whole other subject.

Making the playoffs was our Cup we all know that. LOL. What happens to this team next year and moving forward, which have been mentioned many times, comes down to our top prospects. They must improve or we may be in trouble.

I expected it from the start of the season.

And I expected the Kings to develop and integrate the prospects into key roles, particularly up front.

Merely making the playoffs was never good enough. Without trading a single prospect, they managed to mortgage their future for the present.

Iafollo, Lemieux, Edler, Cal, special teams need to be shown the door.

Arty, Anderson, Kupari, Spence, are all ready for expanded roles next season.

Kopitar will make a great 3rd line center the following season.

Drew looked good this season we missed him a ton throughout the year.

Quick looked good but man it’s sad to see him getting old he won’t get better next year.

I actually think this team needs to grow more than it needs additions. If the guys we have can’t fill the big holes Byfield, Vilardi, Clarke, we aren’t gonna have the pieces for a Stanley cup. That 1C 1D and G1 are not filled currently.

Don’t like the “we didn’t have player X” excuses.

Kings didn’t lose from a lack of talent. They lost because they got outcoached. Look at game 6 and 7. Woodcroft clearly adjusted. Todd didn’t.


Their players were pressuring the kings safety valves nonstop which is why they kept turning the puck over. Todd never changed anything up. They lost the same way they lost the last game.

Nonstop pressure because the breakout passes weren’t there.

Would we do better with said players, yes. But would Todd have adjusted? No. So they would have undoubtedly lost.

Let’s not use injuries for the terrible powerplay, penalty kill, and short handed goals.

This is strictly coaching.
Kings were out skilled too but injuries would not be a big deal if Byfield and Turcotte weren’t busts. But here we are

Kings are going no where if they don’t trade for a superstar, and fire Todd


Quick played great and Oilers were extremely unlucky how many grade A chances they were missing. It wasn’t a close game at all despite the score
