Explain Luc.. He was like a 6th 7th round pick.. was slow as molasses but scored like a mofo.. how you explain that?

Because he had historically great game sense to go a long with a very good shot. That is what Luc was. He wasn’t physical, he played no defense, he was a pretty good passer but his jersey is in the rafters because of his game sense in the offensive zone.

But it’s not easy to know who’s skill is going to translate to NHL production and who’s isn’t. Your example of Robertson and Vilardi is a spot on example. Robertson is a 40 goal-scorer and Vilardi has (now 5 points) in 25 games.

Reminds me of Cammalleri and Tambellini (although not college teammates). They were very similar players in college, similar skill sets. Like Robertson and Vilardi they were one-dimensional offensive guys who offered little else.

Cammalleri was a 1st line player in the NHL and Tambellini was a bust.

Also like those two the better player was the later pick.

Man, I know it’s pretty obvious by now but it’s amazing how much worse Seattle is than Vegas was.

It made no difference in the end, but Michael Amadio missed Vegas' final shootout attempt this year to end their season and I think that's beautiful.

Amadio = scrub in Italian

We are not allowed to call up any more players until Ontario completes their season, unless it's an emergency situation, which is clearly not the case with 8 healthy scratches.

Honestly, I don't see it getting any better against Edmonton. He is going to get shelled with pucks Game 1 and will have to stand on his head to give our offense a chance.
