Don't care if the Habs are struggling, that was a much needed win. Great games by Kupari and Kaliyev who are really coming along nicely the past couple of games. 2nd lines was good today minus the Kempe penalties.

He is slowing stealing the 3C job away from Vilardi, if he hasn't done so already. Plays all over the ice, needs a bit more structure and maturity. Needs to shoot more and drive the net. Once he bulks up he will be a very good middle 6 for us. Really good last few games for him.

Just really need to let the kids play and develop get use to the league and build confidence which is huge. A game like this can go a loong ways hoping Kupari and Kaliyev just keep plugging along.

I can't wait for Byfield to get back too. If guys like Kupari and Kaliyev hit along with Turcotte and Byfield, we're going to be in good shape. Add a Fagemo or Chromiak and our offense moving forward will be promising.

A HUGE shout out to the guy in section 213 row 2 seat 2, for shouting out HILARIOUS s*** all game long hahahhaha. He had everybody rollin. And the place was so quiet, for sure the players heard him. Had my Canadians fan roommate lolling all game long.

How funny if Clague became a real NHL 2nd line D (or even 3rd line) after being kicked so much recently by (us) Kings fans recently. It’s just one game so it barely means much. But I’d certainly love to have egg on my face and eat crow on him. We need it.

Succeeded despite TM's best efforts, good thing Andersson came back in time to banish Vilardi and send Tkachev to Ontario...Kupari and Kaliyev STILL with nearly the least minutes despite their presence, and Maatta still somehow playing...fortunately most everyone picked it up but it didn't make me feel any more confident than the other night.

Even in victory I'm down on this team right now because of who is behind it. Because we know the moment TM has even a blink of a kid playing anything less than perfect, it'll be 5 more minutes for Kopitar or Kempe or someone else sent down so Lizotte can stay. Trying to enjoy it while it lasts but it's really, really difficult knowing that what comes next will be a step backward.

These injuries are really giving these kids kind of a last chance to show what they can do. Especially Clague. Vilardi is such an enigma to me right now. It’s like he just needs to put the effort in. The dude can play. Tkachev may end up being too much of a temperamental type of player but I’d really like to see that Andersson line again.

We broke them a little bit. They can't decide whose going to go out and face the media. Though it is a little easy for us to relate, but it is nice to not be on that side of things today

Hard to play the top six offensive role when you get the highest dzone start % on the team on the 4th line next to plugs.

And for Tkachev, it's silly that the PP has been awful for years, but you find a guy who gives the PP a different element and...simply don't.

I'm sorry, i'm just completely over the treatment of these guys right now. I was under the impression that the end of training camp would mean the trimming of dead weight but instead it was the trimming of talent. I sure can't wait to waste money on Andreas Athanasiou's return to watch Kaliyev get sent down!
