Another injury?
or Blake taking matters into his hands and wiaved AI?
or...TM hates Lias so much, they recalled JAD to play tonight, to have 12 fowards?

I think it’s fascinating that you come here to insult the people but never the team. Are you unstable?
You got people screaming 'f*** YOU TM' because they don't like how he answered a question, and you are trying to point a finger at me? Ok...

After sleeping it off I can confirm that I still want Todd executed. What a terrible coach to ride the veterans into the ground and punish the productive younger players. He needs to get canned or disposed of in any way possible.
Can he take you with him?

Because he’s a shitty coach … does that shock you ? You’re critiquing the people for being mad at the coaches decisions… maybe look at why they’re mad rather than insulting people for being mad. Nah bro, considering you’re content on being the royal jester, I think I should make space for you to sit beside Todd on my rocket.

This shitty coach has us at 82 points with 13 games left. So yeah, that does shock me. I suppose you are expecting this team to finish with 120 points if they had a 'competent' coach? You should send in your resume.

One positive takeaway from this game is that Byfield and Kupari keep looking better and better. Would love to put Kempe with them.

Moore - Danault - Arvidsson
Kempe - Byfield - Kupari
Kaliyev - Kopitar - Vilardi
Iafallo - Anderson-Dolan - Grundstrom
Wow, is it good to put all your speed on one line?

Rather than being rude to people who disagree with you, Todd, maybe you should actually provide some substance to your beliefs why it’s okay to not play Grundstrom and Kaliyev when they are playing really good . And also, Todd, if you don’t mind, explain to us why it’s fine to have Iafallo playing on the top line when he hasn’t scored a goal in over a quarter of the season.

This might be a scary request for you since I don’t see you provide substance ever, but explain why all of that is fine to you.

And if you don’t think thats fine, then I want you to tell me how with proper deployment and lines, how the Kings would not have more points playing their productive players.

Explain all of this.

Aside from Grundstrom, right?

It's pretty infuriating that he isn't getting more playing time. I'm in no way an expert on evaluating NHL talent but the guy brings it just about every night he plays and plays with his size which most of the team won't do even if they have it.

Kupari is definitely starting to stand out as well. Last night might've been one of his best games yet. That line seems to have chemistry.

Maybe that's the difference between you and I...I don't constantly act as if I'm an expert and pretend to know all that I don't.

You have no f***ing clue what it takes to be a head coach and the decisions that guy has to make every day. Your job at Costco is easy...pizza or hot dog. Big difference.

When/if this team plays itself out of a playoff spot, I'll hop on your miserable bandwagon of bitching about every little thing. I hope you'll save a spot for me.

I am not in the fire TMac camp, yet. You can't argue that he is hurting our playoff chances without admitting that he has a hand in the team being in a playoff spot as well. Honestly, he hasn't been THAT out of sync with the fanbase when it comes to the lineup outside of recently with the first line.

I can't remember the last time where people have been clamoring to see certain line matchups and have them actually be put out there like the Champagne line, etc. TMac is just very slow to do it, but at least he does do it. He does adjust to logical orders eventually. Sutter would eventually demote a player but he would promote them back and practically keep line combos the same until the players died.

His slowness though is definitely a turn-off for me in that it is beyond obvious from space that we need to bench some of these vets and give the kids or faster/younger players some more ice time, especially when they are effective with the few minutes they are given. Iafallo over Kaliyev or literally anyone else at this point is turning into a crime. If TMac does nothing for the remainder of the season then sure, but the writing is on the wall and I would be shocked if he let him play out the year up there.

Obviously, a coach's life is a lot more difficult than it is laid out on a message board and there are politics and egos to consider in the locker room, but there are conversations that definitely need to take place if they already haven't and I do expect Todd to react here soon.

All I can say is be careful what you wish for. I saw some writing on TMac getting a little Jack Adams consideration. There can be a lot worse options than TMac to end up behind the bench.

Do you think that little of yourself? Wow that’s sad. It doesn’t take a head coach to see that playing Kopitar into the ground is a good thing. It doesn’t take an expert to see that Iafallo hasn’t done shit for over a quart of a season yet he’s still on the top line. It doesn’t take an expert to see that in a game with 11 forwards and 7 D that the two goal scorers, Kaliyev and Grundstrom are getting no icetime. It doesn’t take any expertise to see that Kopitar was beyond gassed last night and he got three shifts in OT when Byfield, and Kupari were doing great and saw no ice time.

I hope you honestly aren’t this trusting to authority and develop the ability to think critically for yourself. It doesn’t take NHL head coaching experience to see that this team is very poorly managed and the deployments are terrible.

And if you think I’m wrong, tell me where in my points of contention with Todd’s decisions I’m wrong. And explain a counter point rather than say “but we’re not NHL COACHES so we can’t logically reason and deduce based on the present facts “

I thought Byfield looked much better last night, even when you take away the goal. Seems his best games also mirror when Kupari is killing it. Granted, that's been two times total but I'll take what I can get at this point.

Byfield actually tried a pretty difficult deke through traffic at the end of the 2nd that would have made everyone here lose their minds if it was successful. I was just stoked to see him try it. That was really nice to see.

Yeah that’s not necessarily true. It was injuries that forced his hand not adjustment. Brown is still on the Kings and we wouldn’t have seen this chemistry today if Brown didn’t get injured.

I do not share your logic. I think talent can carry mediocre coaches and I think that’s exactly what’s happening here. Talent is what got the Kings a point last night, not coaching. 7-8 mins for Grundstrom and Kaliyev.

I think logically the Kings would be in a better position with a decent coach. Todd is not a good coach, his inability to adapt is prevalent in his career. And we’re seeing that right now.

I know, don't rub it in.

If you can explain to me how this team has 82 points in 69 games while being poorly managed and having terrible deployment, I'll address your questions.

Why are you dodging my questions ? I asked you twice already. Answer them. And If you can’t answer them, maybe you should lay off on insulting people when you can’t explain your positions, or are too embarrassed to subject your opinions to scrutiny.

I just don't have the energy to talk nonsense with you. Judging by your 15k posts in 5 years, you obviously thrive on it.

You have the energy to insult people for their opinions and anger at the game and the coach but you suddenly don’t have the energy to talk about your opinions.

That’s what I thought.

I already told you my opinion, but you don't like it. I'll trust TM's decisions until I have a reason not to. (that might come sooner than later, but right now we're still in 2nd place)

Until then, anyone shouting 'f*** OFF TM' on a message board I will continue to ask if they are unstable. You claim that's an insult...I think it's a fair question based on the message they are posting.

Did you expect anything else? I'm just surprised it took him this long before he resorted to his usual ad hominem
