I’m honestly stumped as to what it’s gonna take for Byfield to start making progress.

He is 19 years old still, and obviously is going to need more time, but he is easily the worst forward on the roster at this point.

In typical kings fashion they don’t draft Stutzle but they take Byfield because tall. Amazing

Byfield has been so bad. I can’t believe a second overall can look so f***ing talentless
I was strongly in the QB camp going into the draft, but anyone who says the Kings aren't regretting their decision is in complete denial. This is just tough to watch right now. If anyone who is old enough to remember this is rookie Aki Berg level bad.

I still make that pick.

You have to make that pick, if you’re the kings. Q is a long term project, but you can’t miss taking a chance on that kind of potential.

I was firmly in the Stutzle camp because Stutzle looked far more talented to me. But people were enamored by height and speed. But we needed up getting a less interesting Jordan Nolan

Why would you take a long term project pick at 2nd overall? That’s the exact opposite of what you should do drafting that high

Not even close. Jordan had a set of balls.

QB made a bad play, agreed.
However, how can a team keep putting out failure for the first 1.5 minutes???
Isfallo??? Are you kidding me?
Kopitar over and over?

Plus, the Kings NEVER get a tip on a point shot like all the other teams in the league do. Horribly frustrating for a team so excellent 5:5.

how long do you give him though? he better have his shit together next season right? i'm not pulling the plug personally but talk about a short leash

What happened to him being “your boy” before his ankle injury? Bipolar much? 😂

I was supporting Byfield even though I wanted Stutzle far more. And it might surprise you but opinions can change over time as you have more observation. And my observation shows to me that byfield looks painfully bad and shows no upside ever since he’s returned

Who's had the worse development year? Turcotte or Byfield?
