The Kings lines were all over the place in the 3rd
Byfield skated on the left wing with Kopitar and Kempe (I think the VA goal was a change but not sure) and also skated on the LW with Lizotte and Kaliyev.

I am hoping he starts next game with Kopitar and Kempe. That is going to be the best for him right now, they can use rookie camps and regular camp to get him more ready to play C in the NHL next fall. He’s not ready right now. He looked more comfortable handling the puck on the wing.

Crazy comeback. I guess you can say aside from Mikey and Browns great passes team wasn't bad for 59 minutes and 54 seconds.

How many times this season have the Kings won on the road after being down 2 goals? Seems like they've done it quite a few times.

Earlier in the season I criticized Arvidsson, but he's been one of the Kings best players recently.

If Lemieux is out for a few games, Vilardi callup incoming?

Hope so, but I imagine Grundy or the battery draws back into the lineup first. Lias is healthy now too, but they probably want him playing a few more games in Ontario and getting a call up when he's hot and in form as he's running out of chances too.

It does afford a nice long look for JAD though.

I’m usually the last guy calling for toughness. But if you swap out Lemieux for Vilardi you have a pretty soft team. Lemieux is the perfect “tough guy” in the modern NHL and the Kings will miss him if he’s out.

But the Kings don’t have much toughness on the farm so call-up options are limited.

I also didnt like RV game earlier.. i thought he shot way too much and didnt look for his linemates.. but I totally get his game now .. he's hyper, he wants to get the puck every rush/cycle tapping his stick.. and Danault has made him better because he finds him with some time to shoot.
