i think he's handily played himself into a $6M contract, i saw someone draw comparisons to william karlsson's contract and it seems to be heading there if he keeps this shit up. this is a near 40 goal pace right?

This is one of those games where, as much as I bemoan the developmental choices and ability of the Kings, I reflect some of my evaluations. I had Zegras ranked lower than most (outside the top 10), because he's more of a flash over substance player.

Granted, he has many nights where I think "huh, I feel pretty stupid ranking him so low."

Getzlaf emotions rival elementary students, not something you want to pass to the young core.

Watching Doughty casually pokecheck the Jagr pull and Durzi just sweepcheck him and him just...give up...is the flipside of it. Yeah.

Like you know he's got the moxie to get better but that quitter act is the same thing young Getzlaf and Kucherov had. That's...not endearing to teammates who are grinding their asses off. Then again, that's pretty good company. So you take the bad with the good.
