Can you imagine how much better the first unit would be if the opposition knew that all they had to do is block kopitars passing lanes since he never shoots but to be honest he’s been shooting pretty high and wide for the last ten games or so

Third line had a rough period. Turcotte is a better center than winger and hes also a better center than Kupari. Fourth line also was sloppier than normal. Other teams woulda made the Kings pay for some of that as it wasnt such a great period for the team as a whole.

This is exactly what I was worried about, team is pretty disengaged. Playing down already. Lucky to be up one.

Lemieux looks like he's still sick, but unfortunately a bunch of guys look like him.

BUT--Kings also adapting to the challenge of a team finally going "jeez how do we slow these guys down" lol, not used to being the 'better' team coming into a matchup. Big points over 10 vs. losing streak, Seattle just playing hard and simple and letting the Kings shoot themselves and it's working.
