My beef with the icetime at this point is this:

I get the philosophy if you want to shorten the bench in the third to go with the vets--that's why you have two Selke guys. Fine. I don't fully agree with it, especially how it's done here, but it's understandable.

But if you're going to do that, why play Turcotte not even 3 f***ing minutes and Kopitar nearly 10 in the 1st period? Why not play the kids more early in the game, or with a three goal lead? Because now they'll NEVER see the ice and it's justifiable to a degree...but it's not until that bullshit PP brought it back within 3.
