I mean you can't really ask for much better from a 4th line center.

He shows 10x the heart and effort compared to a guy like Vilardi, who played himself to the AHL after looking like one of the best players in preseason action.

What a cool dude, so humble and happy to get one more NHL game, very happy for him, hope he is able to have a long hockey career with a few more games in the NHL when opportunity presents itself

It doesn't feel like the Kings are playing well. But the results are respectable.

Was about to post the Minny game too...that's a really strong stretch. Hockey is funny like that--play a string of great games and find ways to lose, play a string of circus visits and find ways to win. As I said I didn't see the final two periods but if they were anything like that first that's a team that reached down deep and made it happen, which is the opposite of what's been happening all year. THAT is growth as well, not just 'playing well,' but finding results when we aren't. Now, have to find results with the A game too, haha.

And Carolina is one of the best team in the league right now. Again, they're a pretty damn good road team this year.

And that one was mostly decided right out the gate with cascading shit calls. Kings responded well through the end of the 1st, but when they couldn't break through, it fell apart. It's okay--can grant one of those once in a while if it isn't a pattern.

He was playing center though when he struggled, which resulted in his ass getting demoted.

This was definitely not an "A" game either. There are not many games this season when the team wasn't playing its "A" game and actually won. So that's something too.

The Caps were Cindy-Lou Hoo and the Kings were the Grinch. It took a while but the Kings found their heart and it grew 3 sizes during the second half of the game.
