Caps right now are missing 5/6 of their top six: Backstrom, Kuznetsov, Wilson, Oshie, and Mantha are all out and only the Russian Tank is still going strong (knock on wood). Their bottom six is essentially Carl Hagelin and the Hershey Bears. Last game they played with Matt Irwin as their 4LW and they’re icing seven rookies most nights. Looks like TvR is back on defense after being out and maybe Dowd as well who has been out for a while.

How they keep winning with this roster I have no idea. Good luck tonight.

John Carlson is usually the guy that clowns the Kings. Plus Nic Dowd is near guaranteed to get a hat trick tonight.

Hockey is a team sport. Just because a team lacks its star players, doesn't mean they will play like crap. Vice-versa is true. Look at the Lakers. Absolute star-studded lineup. Yet they're barely a playoff team. It's how they play as a team. Role players are very important.
 
Oooo no Danault, Moore as 2c. This is going to be some Wednesday night Anaheim ice adult league hockey out there.
