Wow what a game. Oilers best chances were, unsurprisingly, on the powerplay. We completely neutered them 5 on 5. Reminds me a lot of the Leafs game in Toronto although I think we played better in this game.

Yeah I agree. I think he's been so frustrating because we know how effective he can be, particularly when he isn't taking offensive zone penalties and killing all of LA's momentum.

That's the thing though. Looking at the numbers, the Oilers are a completely average team at even strength. It's their special teams that make all the difference.

If they don't score on the PP they're toast.
