Liking a solid first period here. Im not hating the Kempe-Kopitar-Brown the way everyone else is. And I think Kempe was real good on PK if nothing else.

It's just upsetting becasue the Danault line frees up Kopitar, who has been great but getting slapped with 24 min a game, and brown is toast and kempe is a turnover and penalty machine.

This was mitigated a LOT wiht Arvidsson, but with him out, Kopi gets two pianos.

Well they bounced back a lot after giving up the goal. The team seems to be shooting mood. Anytime they entered the offensive zone it felt like they were shooting. Think Roy had like 3 shots by himself that period. Definitely much more aggressiveness by the defense.

Too bad Roy has LESS THAN ZERO CREATIVITY.

God I can't wait for Clark. And Spence. But mainly Clark.

I mean again Im still playing catch up on the Kings. I don't disagree Kempe and Brown are probably miscast as top liners with Kopi at this point.

But I had created a minor stir on in HF Jets earlier tonight considering I was once a Jets mod lol so Im monitoring that thread as well and theyve had very nice things to say about Brown so far tonight. Brown is clearly near the end of his run but I still think he can fill a role, albeit not on top line I'd agree.

Why you shouting? Dude has 2 PP assists in the last 7 games in a role he isn't suited for full-time. Clague, who is, and is on the first PP unit has 3 in the same span.

The blueliners aren't helping much, but the forwards on the first unit have been just dreadful.

Dustin Brown, who has zero value other than putting away garbage in front of the net, has zero PP points this year despite being stapled to that first unit.

Adrian Kempe has just two PP points this year, also a staple of the first unit.

Roy is super solid. I like him. But he does lack offensive creativity. He could improve in that area. What were you saying?
 
If Kupari can’t start further developing his offensive touch, he’s just Trevor Lewis.

That’s not a bad thing, but maybe redundant.
