Also moved the following to the Retired/Inactive section

Marian Hossa (Skin disorder, presumed retired)
Brandon Dubinsky (Wrist injury, presumed retired)
Stephen Johns (Head injury, hasn't played since 2020 playoffs)
Henrik Zetterberg (Back injury, presumed retired)
Alex Steen (Back injury, announced retirement)
Marian Gaborik (Wrist injury, presumed retired)
Erik Foley (Head injury, hasn't played since 2018)

Ryan Miller (Announced retirement)
Anders Nilsson (Head injury, hasn't played since 2019-20 season)

I did not include
David Backes (Who is expected to retire but I don't believe he completely confirmed it yet)
Pekka Rinne (Who had a big send-off/last start with Nashville but could still get into action in the playoffs)
Did we get confirmation on if Andrew Shaw is retiring-retiring or LTIRetiring?

24 year old D, acquired by NYR from NJD for Grabner in 2018
bad leg injury at 2019 pre-camp rookie tournament derailed his lone NA season to-date

will be NHL RFA when NYR contract expires, an NHL QO could retain his rights for a few more seasons

not a signing, just a couple questions:
a) during exclusive FA 'courting' period, does Seattle have any exceptional privileges re RFAs?
b) In current calendar, when is QO deadline? saw somewhere it will be pre-Exp draft
thanks for any answers

UPDATE per comments in related LeBrun article in TheAthletic tbis week, Seattle can sign an unprotected RFA during courting period and as with UFA signed then, that player counts as exp.draft selection from that team. So i guess that means they can only sign one guy from any/each team prior to Exp draft

UPDATE 2 per same article, QO date comes after exp.draft
