Were there some people that wanted Graves? I hope they watched tonight’s game and decide against it.
Kings need more dmen who can shoot into shin pads.

Total meltdown by Avalanche in this series. Not built for a long series, it’s over.
I want them to change the culture before adding a star from the outside. They also need to see what they have in prospects as their higher end guys are teenagers. Is Eichel a culture changer or is he a great player on a bad team?
7 goals in 9 playoff games for Saad. He’d look good in Kings colors.

If it comes down to Graves or MacDermid Id take Grave 10 out 10Were there some people that wanted Graves? I hope they watched tonight’s game and decide against it.
All these suggested moves just move us closer to black hole territory. I don't see the point.
Any UFA willing to sign for 2 years or less is great.
Amen. Honestly, at this point, I'd ice 12 Brendan Lemieuxs next year before trading for 'more talent.'
What do you do about Doughty in that scenario?
Most likely an older guy like Nick Foligno if you overpay on avg.
Lemieux sure provided a great spark down the stretch right? Guy is overrated, deal made/makes no sense.
Doughty does.
The 4 have their Cups, they just want to play in a single game that has any meaning again. The young guys have time to worry about Cups later.
Cheap depth for the expansion draft. Either he gets taken, or is the replacement for whoever else gets taken.
By himself, he's not a difference maker either way. He is what he is. You find the right role and line for him. If the team is better, you might be able to squeeze something out of him. A couple extra PIMs like the Rangers got.
Doughty can't win either way with this forum. When he says he still has the competitive fire to want to win he is excoriated by the tanksters. If he had said he was fine with the direction of the team and just wanted to play out his contract and live at the beach he'd be excoriated by all the other fans (and the tanksters as well just because).
I think it's just the frustration since 2014. Winning cures everything. Every stage of competitiveness decreases the amount of nit picking. If you're a bottom of the league team, all anyone has is nit picking. Every little move that is or isn't made. Should've done this is that other thing instead of what was done, because like potential, you can make the unknown result better than the known one. Assuming it's a bad result. If it's a good result, it was obviously the right move to make.
why pay an asset for that though, especially in an ED draft year.
100% on board with Tarasenko. 7.5 mil cap hit is reasonable and only has 2 years left. Cost might not be as high seeing that there is only 2 years left on his deal and his recent injury…
Don't disagree. The only thing I would say is that the one thing that should never be nit picked is a player who still has the fire to want to win. Once you nit pick that, it's over.

No, the issue is that his shoulder is barely held together by a thread. The only issue would seem to be a full NTC.
I don't think anyone doesn't like the fire, but where was it in 2018? How does Doughty not get that team moving before they're 30th overall in late January 2019 and trading his best d-partner?
