Haven’t posted in a while, been enjoying the playoff chase up to this point. After the 3-0 lead, I was thinking the Kings are ready for the playoffs and then for the rest of the game I’m going:

I didn't think the goals against were "bad" goals (some were unstoppable), but Cal rarely makes big saves. He's done nothing to show that he can be a #1 goalie. He reminds me of Bernier.

we just wanted meaningful games at the end of the season, sure, but there's something to be said for 'how.'

If it were constant improvement throughout the season with a late push at the end--great. But having a 98% chance of making the playoffs and falling out would be a terrible look.

It's similar to how we're losing games--sucks ass losing to the Oilers and flames especially with how we spotted Cal a goal etc. but having a 3 goal lead and losing 6-3 is completely inexcusable on any rational level.

Ive got nothing else, just completely disgusted.

Ranford and co. need to spend a ton of time getting him back in gear for next season, not something that'll unmess itself without the offseason sadly. Confidence is shaken but that's just part of it, stylistically he's getting worse and not how he was when he first went pro

Can he carry like Quick? No, but he has shown he can go on runs before which would place him as a midtier guy.

Blowing a 3-0 lead in what is essentially a must-win game is inexcusable. Not sure how Cal wasn’t pulled to change the momentum. Todd will stay but Kings will go on a big losing streak next season (and miss this years playoffs) and he’ll get the axe.

This is still a successful season, IMO. Danault signing and Arvidsson trade were remarkable. Obviously losing Doughty sucks. We definitely need another top 6 winger and top Dman. Lets see what Blake does this off-season.

Sean Durzi is clearly out of his element. Started off so strong and the rookie streak prowess has fizzled out.

Well regarding Arvidsson, I would like to see him stay more healthy. I think his shot is under rated. Kings need to be more creative offensively and utilize Arvidsson's shot. I don't think TMac takes advantage of that enough.

It was nice to see a team rally around a goalie who was having an off night. The Wild knew Fleury wasn't going to win the game for them, so they won it for him.

What a joke. Todd continuing to let Lolfallo do his thing out there which is nothing. It’s purely mind boggling at the decisions that this staff makes. Todd is as bad as WD 40 and I’d never thought I would say that. I think @Herby mentioned it earlier how he’s never seen mind boggling decisions from a coaching staff like these jokers pull.

Can you imagine if Kaliyev took a penalty like Lemiux did and didn’t touch the puck??? He’d be benched for the rest of the year.

And I'm sorry because I thought with his system I'd give him the benefit of the doubt for another year but BENCHING our PP goal leader instead of doubling down on him in a stretch when we need goal scoring the most was the final straw for me, "we need him to be a top sixer next year" go f*** yourself. I am absolutely done with TM. I was okay with the great x-os/systems coach, terrible bench/gameday coach thing for learning purposes and because I figure he's def. not going to be the one to lead us to the promised land anyway, but I can't do it anymore. I'm glad I'm not the only one questioning his shit anymore because at least the fan club will be going after others now too

If Vilardi did that hed never put on a kings jersey again. I dont mind a coach that does the tough love routine but the same rules have to apply to everyone on the team.

anyway deep down, you all know, the best thing for this team long term is to not make the playoffs this season as I've stated earlier this year... in the hopes of having some of the staff replaced

why is Marco Sturm handling our PP? why is McLellan an NHL head coach?

but to me, the bigger issue now is Bergevin lurking in the shadows (as he is as bad if not worse than Blake)

it is a near guarantee that with these bozos in power, we'll have a good 3-8 years of shit hockey before we see this team back contending for a cup

And finally man, our bantams coach would have had us running suicides after practices if we tried to bogart all the PP time the way PP1 does, like a parent catching his kid smoking a cigarette and making him smoke the whole pack. I am absolutely f***ing sick of those corpses being unable to pull their weight 5v5 but suddenly finding the energy to stand around in the zone doing f***all for 1:40.
