Turn it in only to see K’Andre get deked out of his jack strap, of course.
I don't know if I'd say it's his specialty, but he is really good at itWait we actually have a guy whose speciality is QB'ing a power play??
Good to hear he won't just be a pure shutdown guy for Sweden this yearLundkvist looked great on the PP for Sweden.
That can all change within a matter of weeks/monthsSo many promising dman prospects.
So little depth at forward for us.

I just got a stream up on my computer for the last ~2 minutes of the first, I'll probably pay more attention to the US/CAN game, but I hope I'll be able to catch a good amount of Lundkvist and HenrikssonYeah, it was big for him that Boqvist didn’t make it.

In-zone defending will more likely than not be an issue with K'Andre for a few years. I do think he's been getting better, but he still struggles making reads and switching quickly to keep gaps closed in coverage. The rest of his game with defending in transition and rushing of the puck up ice has been improving nicely.Canada dominated the first, but the US buried its chances.
K’Andre was getting clowned in his own zone the entire period. Nothing glaringly terrible, but it certainly wasn’t good. I think he’ll settle in this period
Jones looked good on the PP. Didnt notice him much otherwise which is nice.
I never bothered renewing my cable package in August. This is the first time that it has been even a minor inconvenience, but a month-long subscription to TSN Direct solves that.
NHL Playoffs > WJCs > Olympics w/ NHL players > NHL regular season > Olympics w/o NHL players
I frigging love this tournament!
I just mean to say one shouldn't look too far forward with the prospects that are currently in the organization because personnel is always coming in and going outI think it’s much harder to find good forwards right now.
The young guys on the blueline bring something the old guard don’t have. They are totally fearless with the puck in their own end and exploit every inch they get. Hence they do well when they get a shot.
Up front it seem to be much harder for young players to come in and have an impact.

I don’t know if this is the kind of tournament for Miller to stand out in. I feel like he can bring his brand of chaos in a more structured environment, but I don’t think he’s comfortable when everything is chaosJones has been more impressive than Miller so far.
