On Swedish news they said that the Canucks might have the training camp in the US due to the 2 weeks quarantine rule in Canada. Is this something the Habs are planning to do as well?
MB was asked about it. And the reporter who asked mentioned Benning saying that in an interview. MB said that so far, they haven't explored holding camp anywhere else than here. He also said that he had spoken to Benning earlier today and he never told him about it.
The Canucks are considering it. But no final decision is made yet.
But honestly, if Vancouver wants to be a hub city, but the host team has to move outside of the country to hold their camp, why would the NHL then consider Vancouver to host?
Heck, Lapierre might not even be around at 16 ( he most probably will but still) .
My thoughts exactly. To be fair though, of all the teams we could've faced, I feel like the habs do well vs Pittsburgh. I won't be cheering for a win, I don't want a cheap way in the playoffs, but I'm scared they might actually be able to pull this off. It's hilarious...most people here on the board indicate how bad the Habs are, but many expect the Habs to beat the Penguins....hmmm....ironic.

We actually are just used to the Habs doing the exact wrong thing every time.
They will beat the Penguins and then get demolished in round 1.
This happens with most non playoff teams down the stretch. Not unlike how every year once they get mathematically eliminated from playoff contention and they suddenly start winning every game.

I can't really cheer against the habs, but I'd rather have a high pick than winning the play-in. You can decide what your definition of being a fan is, I've considered myself as one for 25 years, but I've grown more and more cynical in the last few. I still want the team to win, but they don't deserve to make it this year and I don't believe in handing someone an opportunity they don't deserve. So you saying you're cheering for the habs to lose?So not a habs fan then?
Honestly though, the pens have an extremely top heavy team.. I think the habs match up very well against them, they're always a team I feel we can beat whenever we play them. Many expect the Habs to beat the Pens? I'm not seeing that. All I see is we got a shot cause we have Price and it's almost like the a new season starting over again where systems and game shape might be to an advantage for us.
Basically, some of our fans see what the Pens see in terms of us being difficult to beat due to circumstance

Probably when we get close to game 1, when are you gonna accept that people are entitled to not be excited about this? When you going to move past the point we don't deserve it though? Game 1 or the play in round?
