I think it was Jeff Schultz.

If we select QB, I would like to get one of Mysak, Peterka or Reichel with our second pick.

We could focus on the OHL. QB, Mysak, Cuylle with Vegas 2nd and Vierling with Columbus 3rd. We’d end up with selection 1, 2 and 3 from the OHL 2018 Priority draft

When it comes down to picking a center or a winger with near equal talent, you always go with the center. A great center is always hard to find.

Most off of that one "draft dynasty" video, people are questioning Byfield's ability to score beyond the rush, to which I would say, it's great that he can score that way, you can teach a guy to use his size and become effective in the offensive zone, you can't teach size, speed, skating, a great shot etc.

It's almost like we know someone like that. I'm not comparing the totality of his game to Kopi, as Byfield will never be the 200-foot player that Kopi is.

Take it with a grain of salt, as all of the LA sources are saying the opposite, but AJ from TSN1200 claims that he has a sense from LA's management & ownership that they are leaning Stutzle and that a source indicated that Tim Stutzle is already celebrating thinking he is LA bound... He is reaching and speculating, but there it is.

It starts 13:30:

In The Box - June 29, 2020 - Hour 2

It's almost like Canadian media wants to push a Stutzle to LA narrative built upon tin foil so Byfield winds up staying in Canada or something.

We have a winner.

"LA has a ton of Centers, they need a wing" "The owner & one of their coaches are German".

I have nothing against Stützle, if they think he's the best player I hope they take him, but only for that reason.
Is there a backup plan already for the first pick if they cancel the season? I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere.

Yes, teams 8-15 by points % would be in the draw.

They just followed up every franchise's best draft class with everyone's worst. Here is the Kings':

Los Angeles Kings

Worst draft: 2002
The Kings’ draft class of 2016 stands out for its complete lack of picks (four in total), which set them up for failure, but it’s hard to knock their scouting group for coming up a bit short, especially when Kale Clague could still become an everyday NHLer. Their class of 2002 is a different story. None of the Kings’ 11 picks played more than 250 games. That included taking Lokomotiv Yaroslavl’s Denis Grebeshkov 18th overall, the fourth-ranked European skater by NHL Central Scouting. And though Grebeshkov didn’t have the kind of career you’d hope for out of a top pick, he did briefly have a resurgence in Edmonton which included a 39-point season on the Oilers back end. All told, though, it wasn’t the Grebeshkov pick that undid the Kings’ 2002 class. The players who followed, with the exception of Alex Steen and Cam Ward, didn’t go on to spectacular NHL careers, either. Grebeshkov spent just a couple of seasons in the Kings organization before being dealt to the Islanders in 2006. The Kings missed elsewhere too, including on second-round pick Sergei Anshakov, who never came to North American and was picked a handful of spots above Duncan Keith, Matt Stajan and Jiri Hudler.

Wheeler: Every NHL team's worst draft class of the last 20...

The ridiculous part of that radio segment was trying to weave that thread about ownership having ANYTHING to do with who the Kings draft. Are you kidding me? I doubt ownership could pick any of these prospects out of a lineup let alone having seen even a millisecond of highlight game tape. C'mon now. There's a lot of wishful thinking in that speculation. Kings may very well draft Stutzle but probably for none of the reasons mentioned. Only that Yannetti and team think he's the better prospect.

Yeah but Anshutz is German, so naturally The Kings are going to invade Poland.
