I want that #1, so it won’t happen just because I want it.
The Kings now have 10 draft picks in 2020. They have all of their own draft picks, a 2nd from Vancouver, a 3rd from Columbus (from the Clifford trade), and a 4th from Calgary (for Fantenberg).
#2, #33, #48 (VAN) #64, #85 (CBUS) #95 6 picks in top 100. Maybe they move some to trade up. Of course, the #2 overall becomes the #1 overall in April.

If they don't win the lottery to get #1 overall, trade all of them for #1.
Wishful thinking.
Hell, if not picking #1, maybe Drysdale would be best. Someone on D needed with vision, wheels, puck moving ability, offensive wizardry, for the Vilardi's, Kaliyev's, Maddens'. Fagemo's, Kupari's....not so much
a reach. Drysdale is legit. Will get bigger. The question would be, "is Byfield, Stutzle, Rossi...clearly the better player and 3 years from now, the better player?" It's super hard to trade for a #1 dman.
The ol Ricky Williams move.
I don't hate it. Especially since we're loaded with depth and need top end...
