GDT: 2020 NHL Entry Draft - Day 2

Tampa also has the best development. Benoit Groulx is their secret weapon. Rangers only started caring about their AHL team within the last 12-18 months.
 
I don’t know these prospects like some of you guys but I follow along every draft and it’s funny cause most of the time the prospects you guys are praying for and flip out when the rangers don’t draft them end up not being anything lol. You guys gotta trust the process and relax . Rangers have definitely changed identity of the organization like when Jagr came and took us to the playoffs . Enjoy the ride boys

Excuses. Many star forwards have been drafted with late picks. Just look at the Stanley Cup finalists for evidence. Benn was a fifth rounder and he pisses on anyone we've drafted other than our lottery wins.

Down the road

LA is building well
AVS are going to be good for a long while
Oilers look the same

Jersey will be getting better
Carolina is looking legit and are ramping up the offense.
Ottawa - nice pieces but a long way to go IMO
Flyers look the same
Florida is looking better on paper
Tampa of course but let’s see where this cap leads
Bruins - lot of miles on some of those skates
Caps - surprised how quickly they fell
Columbus - they find a way
Leafs - lacking brawn but they have more skill than the Rangers
Habs - eh
Pens - i think they’re done.


Rangers might become the beast of the East in a few years

Incredible to see Nybeck, Chromiak, Miettinen and Johanesson still on the board. Scouts really don't see the value in small skilled europeans do they.

You can add Berard, Farrell and Tullio to that to represent NA. Pashin too, and he might be one of the best of the lot.

There goes Nybeck though.
