GDT: 2020 NHL Entry Draft - Day 2

In all the years I've been here, the desire to make trades almost for the mere sake of making them has never abated.

I trust that JD & JG know when the right moment has arrived to pull the trigger on a deal.

Like I said earlier, I think the Rangers are more than likely interested in acquiring roster players or "close" prospects like Gauthier than they are in trying to acquire picks. They're ready to start winning rather than just acquiring assets that will play in four years.

Personally, I am not sold on the concept of Sanderson being ready. So I don't necessarily see that.

If I had to speculate why some might feel that way, it's probably the skating and decision making.

Agreed. Many want traded for the sake of making them
 
Always feels like there is so much value in the 2. round. Atleast compared to how easily they get traded comapred to low 1. rounders.
