Yeah I was thinking Queen too, but I have literally never correctly guessed what they will do in round 1.

Wow, really wasn't expecting Jordyn Brooks to go in the first round. Especially when Queen was still available.
Me neither. Expected someone in the trenches. Either Jones the OT from Houston or the DE from Penn State.
But they like him over Queen.
LB is a need, maybe not too of the chart right now, but Kendricks is a free agent but they signed Irvin to replace him on the strong side while Wright has 1 year left and over 30.

Going back to the Packers, seeing as how things went against the 49ers, you know you're in an arms race between them, the Saints, Vikings, Eagles, Cowboys, etc. Heir apparents are also overrated. Your time is now.

Heir apparent worked out well for the Packers when they took Rodgers and more recently for the Chiefs with Mahomes

The real eerie part will be when Darnold busts and the Jets go and trade for Rodgers in two years before he goes to the Bears or Lions out of spite.

And countless other times it didn't. Mahomes clearly could've played Year 1 if Alex Smith would've just gotten out of the way.
