Oh, God. Give me a break.

The team is four and f***ing seven. It is a dumpster fire. The only reason this team is "on the rise" is because the division is so f***ing bad it's not even funny.

On what planet is Peppers great? He's a bit below Landon Collins but just cheaper. Collins has been trending down. No one ripped him really for letting Collins go. He was ripped for not trading Collins. And rightfully so. Peppers is average at the very best.

The LW trade was f***ing garbage. The Jets were desperate to trade him. We could have had him for free in the offseason and he would've likely signed a pretty cheap deal with how mediocre he was.

Your whole post is laughable. And why are you giving Gettleman any credit for the coach? Gettleman threw Shurmur under the bus and basically said he had no say in coaching. You cannot, then, give him any credit for Judge.

5 and 7. Not a dumpster fire. On the rise because they are showing great signs of being a competitive team.

Peppers great again today.

LW with 2.5 sacks today. Absolute stud. No way he was going to sign here as a free agent. Gettleman played this one perfectly, and I was critical at the time. I'm man enough to admit being wrong about it.

Your whole post here was laughable

Holy crap. I didn't think they had a chance this game and then they pulled it off with Colt McCoy at QB. And on the strength of the DEF and O-line too. Wow. Love watching the O-line mash. They were constantly running to Thomas/Lemiux's side. Gates mixing it up throughout the game. Love it.

We got us a coach in Judge. Hope that Graham sticks around as long as possible cause this Defense is legit - and performing way above the individual talent levels.

Fingers crossed the Martinez injury isn't too serious.

Gotta give LW credit too, I wasn't sure he was even playing in the first half but he full-on beasted in the 2nd. Love the ride this team is taking this season, but imagine this team next year with a legit #1WR and a plus edge rusher?

Watched the Jets game with some friends that are also Jets fans and we were extremely pissed they had that lead. You can't win now after f***ing up all season.

The play before, Carr had Aghalor and I thought it was over there. Miracle at the Meadowlands 3.0. That last game is a little scary, but it looks like NE will be in it for a spot until the end.

I'm very confident they'll be 0-16 when all is said and done.

As someone else mentioned, I would worry about the Bellyache game.

Wilson was running from the pressure most of the game, what a performance by the defense. Remember the key to that’s first Eli SB was the elite pass rush.

this was the closest I’ve felt to watching this team come close to those 2011 2007 runs on Defense. Wilson had no idea what to do. Was in trouble a lot.

say what you will about Getts he said you win with the lines. The big boys. Both lines look tremendous right now.

colt McCoy played one of the worst games I’ve seen from a QB absolutely useless and we just knocked off the Seahawks?!?

And next year you sign a top receiver you draft an edge guy and a CB2 in round 2 and you’re really cooking

you gotta figure out a way to keep Ryan (although if you have to bite the bullet it’s probably here wirh McKinney in the fold) and Williams ( you can franchise him again technically) Gallman too (I don’t trust Saquon coming back anytime soon)

This is the first time I've felt positive about the direction of the Giants in a long while. This was a huge culture win. I'm not expecting them to be remotely competitive in the playoffs this year, if they're able to make it. But when it comes to the big picture, it makes you think Joe Judge is a legit head coach. It makes you think the defensive coaches have done a fabulous job bringing the pieces into a unit that you can say the sum is greater than the individual parts. This is such a huge confidence booster and a win you can truly be proud of. I want them to keep fighting and keep improving.

Giants last 3 losses are by a combined 6 points.

they never should have lost to Dallas/Tampa/Eagles. All three should have been won.

They very much were right there in their games against the Rams and Bears. Those came down to one or two plays.

really the only bad bad game was against the 49ers.

they’ve been building and building and it feels like they believe they can beat anybody right now. Lot of swagger out there right now

this Covid cap is going to be a tight offseason for many. Not sure what will happen with LW. I think ORT or pass rusher is more important than WR or DB. I think both this team and the league are proving covering receivers is a lot easier if you know your front can stop the run or rush the QB. Nobody can cover anybody if the opponent can run the football to set up the easy pass or have a QB have all day to throw. So often, the whole DL runs out of gas. Add to the front line (or edge rusher) and i think teams can use later picks to run the ball, catch the ball and defend the pass.

This game was very similar to the Rams game. The Rams game saw one of the few breakdowns all season on D to make that game 17-9, if not for one play the game would have finished 10-9, maybe even 12-10 Giants since we were driving. The difference is that one defensive play and the O-line was not anywhere near where it was today. So this was a more seasoned team playing a similar game and winning.

Contract year...

Def impressed by Judge though.

so true, it is a contract year. He is still young so he might be worth it.

That Seattle defense isn’t what they used to be but neither is this Giants OL. Shane Lemiuex reminds of David Diehl. Did Hernandez get any reps?

Speaking of contracts and likely a lower cap, i think Golden Tate needs to take a pay cut. Engram will likely play out his contract yet his hands can’t be trusted. He makes too many mistakes each week to resign long term IMO. Then what to do with that Barkley 5th year option.

Tate will not be back neither will solder.

I think if it comes down to money again I probably let Ryan go as much as I want to keep him. MCKinney needs to play. He’s a stud.

there will be money for a major WR and there are guys that will be avail. Smith Schuster, Golliday, Godwin to name a few major upgrades.

You can franchise Williams worst case but he should be kept long term and you have to keep Gallman and Tomlinson.

edge in round one. Corner in round 2.

I wouldn’t trust Leonard Williams to give him the money he’d want long term. I’m a Jet fan, so I’m not up on the Giants salary cap situation but I’d consider the franchise tag depending on their cap space and his potential number. Let him play a another contract year then deal him if the money works.

Id be a bit surprised if Tate was back at all. I think they’ll go in another direction. I don’t think Gettleman invests in a legit 1 on big money though as much as the fans might be into it.

I think the Jets look at Golliday or Godwin. If they draft Lawrence that’s a potentially solid trio for him with Crowder and Mims.

I could then see them use either their second first rounder or early second on more OL help... the other pick most likely a CB, put possibly a pash rusher.

I’m not saying they’ll compete for a playoff spot, but they could be decent if Douglass makes the right moves and hires a legit HC. They have the draft capital and salary cap space to make serious improvements.
