Bergevin should have trade for a first before the trade deadline in february. But he never want to pay the price for first round picks...NEVER.

QMJHL has become the worst development feeder league for the NHL. Eons behind both OHL & USNDP/NCAA and quite a bit behind Euro & WHL...distant last place

Guhle will turn out to "be the superior player to" more than half a dozen of the players picked before him, including Drysdale.

While I’ll certainly be rooting for that outcome, I’ll also gladly take the other side of that bet. Have done more than enough due diligence on him at this point, with viewings carried out over a 3 year period. Love your chutzpah though.

They do and fewer and fewer are successful if you bothered to check the stats. You should listen to Timmons’ interview on 690. You do realize this isn’t about just drafting French players right? This is to draft players to make the NHL and contribute at an elite level.
