And get worse, plus get a guy who is a sideshow who rubs his teammates the wrong way.Would you guys do Girard + Compher + 1st for Tkachuk? Realize we actually save money on that deal.

I’m curious, how many of you guys are aware that Nathan Mackinnon rubs his teammates the wrong way? You know what though, his teammates care more about winning than being constantly degraded by Mackinnon. And get worse, plus get a guy who is a sideshow who rubs his teammates the wrong way.
Nathan MacKinnon is Nathan MacKinnon, guy who puts up and backs his talk and doesn't have others fight his battles, Tkachuck is a guy who stirs shit and then lets others deal with the consequences.I’m curious, how many of you guys are aware that Nathan Mackinnon rubs his teammates the wrong way? I didn’t compare them as hockey players. I’m simply commenting on you saying Tkachuk rubs guys the wrong way which Mackinnon does times 1000.Nathan MacKinnon is Nathan MacKinnon, guy who puts up and backs his talk and doesn't have others fight his battles, Tkachuck is a guy who stirs shit and then lets others deal with the consequences.
I doubt it's fun to be ragged by Nate, but he and the dbag out of Calgary who wilts away when the going gets tough aren't comparable.
Criticizing someone for bad playoffs and trading him plus for a guy that’s bad in the playoffs. Wonder what’s the difference…As for your argument criticizing Tkachuk as a hockey player that just isn’t wortho my time. He’s a stud. Arguments against that don’t hold much merit.
What arguments don't hold much merit? Dude has 5 points in 15 playoff games and was invisible in most of them. He constantly wilts away when the pressure amps up.I didn’t compare them as hockey players. I’m simply commenting on you saying Tkachuk rubs guys the wrong way which Mackinnon does times 1000.

I would not. Rather use Girard to find a better 2C than to find a 2LW.Would you guys do Girard + Compher + 1st for Tkachuk? Realize we actually save money on that deal.
Newhook, Graves, 1st, Ranta, Kaut, KovalenkoThe ask for Eichel is apparently a "top 6 center under 25, a top 4 defenseman, a 1st rounder, and three prospects"
Avs need to solve center prior to worrying about wings. I'd kill for the Avs to have JGP or Trocheck right now... and if that was the case, the Avs would still be playing.
Yup. If Girard is moved it has to be for a young C that solves the 2C issue for the foreseeable future.I would not. Rather use Girard to find a better 2C than to find a 2LW.

Do those two teach dmen how to exit the zone safely, or how to clear a puck into a non danger area.

Well... maybe not the Islanders game 5They are actively involved in breaking up cycles and transitioning the puck.
Have people forgot that forwards (and specifically centers) can play below the dots defensively? Simply, go watch the Tampa/NYI series for how instrumental centers are to defensive coverage and transition.

Of course you want me to pay attention to the Tampa sideYou just pay attention to the Tampa side then!
It's amazing that people on a hockey discussion board some how fail to understand the concept that a Center plays a huge role in the defensive zone and are vital parts in transitioning the puck out of the defensive zone.
You'd think people choosing to post on a hockey discussion board would have that kind of knowledge at least, but here we are.
