Vilardi was caught flat footed because JAD coughed up that puck and Doughty was roving. Yeah he’s slow and got burned but he shouldn’t be getting most of the blame there.

glad someone pointed it out, that ones on JAD for turning it over, Valardi's at the point waiting for the puck, of course he's gonna be flatfooted, but all everyone sees is the goal against.

Valardi has Toffoli's speed, it's worked out ok for him in the longrun. Very few guys are catching stone on the breakaway.

Toffoli was a sniper in CHL and a pretty darn good scorer in the NHL,Vilardi not so much at any level maybe Bantam

I didn't blame Vilardi for the goal, I just said he looks slow as shit. Lots of blame to go around but lots of guys would have applied more pressure there too.

I like Gabe, hope he can bounce back from a fairly ugly stretch the last while.
