officially turning off my first Kings game of the season, Game 4, end of period 1.

The combination of the lack of heart, the 'vets' completely shitting their depends for the fourth game in the row, and the reffing crew have made this completely unwatchable.

I'd stick around for Mackinnon but I get the feeling I'll be able to see the highlights in a couple of hours anyway.

Clearly he wasn't going to cost much and when you have no cap issues to speak of there was absolutely no excuse not to bring him back another year.

Honestly the core vets are infected with this ho hum apathy. Quick and Brown, let them ride off into the sunset, theyre close enough to retirement. I’d explore moving kopitar and Doughty. Though I fear it’s too late. When a team has the same issues across so many different coaches, it isn’t the coaches.

Bjornfot looked better against McDavid in his first NHL game than Maatta has looked against his own skates

I don't think so. I think he's just miscast. They're trying so hard to make him Drew's partner when it's clear he's not a #2 and it's clear him and Doughty are oil and vinegar. Or maybe gasoline and matches.
