I don't think so. I think he's just miscast. They're trying so hard to make him Drew's partner when it's clear he's not a #2 and it's clear him and Doughty are oil and vinegar. Or maybe gasoline and matches.

He should be a #5-6. Definitely not a #2.

With the lack of scoring I might just go forward this inability to put the puck in the net is getting immensely depressing. I think I go Kent Johnson.

I think you need to try an trade for scoring if that is the plan.
Thing is the 2nd line needs to be the 1st line at this point, they do have offensive skills and a couple of guys who can finish.

LA's first line is probably a 3rd line on 25 other teams and right now that include Kopi.

The silver lining actually is look where the Avs were 2007-2017

Can the Kings trade Kopi,Doughty first,finish last overall and select Owen Powers,Brandt Clarke and Matt Beniers,1,2,3 and be done with the rebuild

Beniers would be good, but the Kings need a #1 defenseman....hoping for one of the top 5:
Power, Clarke, Edvinsson, Huhghes, or Lambos. We all see that the Kings need a top 2 defenseman and that between ALL of these forwards, 3-5 should be bonafide NHL players:
Byfield, Turcotte, Kaliyev, Kupari, Fagemo, Madden, Thomas and possibly JAD comes around and a few others.

The Kings need 2, top defensemen. Hoping Grans emerges...Faber and Bjornfot will be good 3-4 ones. But please, get a blue chip defenseman!

No I totally agree it's my frustrations talking. But honestly if we have a high pick again and the BPA is a forward why not.

It's the worst feeling.

I want to believe and I said I'd give them 5 games, but watching the emotional deflation and lack of investment after things started going wrong is too much. The body language is just 'welp here we go again.'

Put on Habs and Canucks, Toffoli with a shot at back to back hatty's, that might give you some enjoyment. And I am actually enjoying this all Canadian division overall, my favorite division to watch
