Agree 100%Time for the kids to show their wares! No Clifford and no Lewis. Time to move on folks. We already have vets we can’t trade (Brown and Carter), we don’t need more. We have a ton of young players who need ice time to show if they belong in the NHL or not. Time to let the kids show what they got.

I forgot which NHL player I read about who went to the KHL. He said they got paid in trash bags of cash every week. He said he was afraid to put the money in a bank so he peeled back the top of a closet door and hid the money in the void of the door. He said it was sketchy on so many levels he decided after one year to just come back to the US.
I'm very happy with the tandem of Quick/Petersen. The veteran and the rookie. Quick can still play.
That said, if Seattle wants JQ, I think you gotta let him go.
As far as I know, Matt Millar is still under contract as the Reign goaltending coach.Come on home, Dusty!

Man, we really did wreck the Sharks' lives for a few years there. No wonder they chest thump so hard about 2011 and 2016. Nothing else at all to hang on to.
And those 2 series victories by the Sharks mean absolutely nothing to me because they failed to cash in and make them count. The Kings made the Sharks historical footnotes in the worst way for them on the way to a second Cup. Lots of hockey folks remember the reverse sweep because it's etched in Stanley Cup lore. Do you know who remembers or cares about the Sharks 2011 and 2016 series wins vs the Kings outside of the respective fanbases? Wikipedia. Yep, those 2011 and 2016 victories are weighted equally in franchise history as the 2013 and 2014 Kings series victories, alright.
I have personally never experienced thatMan, we really did wreck the Sharks' lives for a few years there. No wonder they chest thump so hard about 2011 and 2016. Nothing else at all to hang on to.
To be fair, the 2013 series doesn't mean anything either except for bragging rights between the two fan bases: just like 2011 and '16.
So much good about 2014. Winning the 7th games against San Jose and Anaheim were the foundation. To be fair, the 2013 series doesn't mean anything either except for bragging rights between the two fan bases: just like 2011 and '16.
At the end of the day, nothing remotely comes close to 2014 and nothing will for quite a long time: maybe ever. Not only do they have the embarrassment of choking the 3-0 lead, but they allowed the Kings to escape and eventually win a 2nd Cup.
Beating Chicago and the Rangers were just as big for me.So much good about 2014. Winning the 7th games against San Jose and Anaheim were the foundation.
For sure, the Chicago series in the WCF might be the best playoff series played in the NHL in the last 20 years. The 2014 WCF was for the Stanley Cup, and everyone knows it. I had seats in a PR section for Game 5 against the Rangers in the end where every goal in that game was scored. Awesome, never will be forgotten experience.Beating Chicago and the Rangers were just as big for me.
Every round f***ing awesome
