Grundstrom had some chemistry with Moore and JAD.

Wagner is big with speed and edge but Lewis hands.

Lemieux honestly seemed irrelevant most games. Pest not an enforcer.

Lizotte is small and always on his butt.

MacD will be interesting up front. Not sure it will work but at least he brings intimidation and protection.

AA is the best scorer but is streaky. Still like him over most of the fodder but I doubt he is back.

Frk was promising. Still want to see how he fairs with Vilardi.

Eberle had 15 even strength goals. That's actually pretty damn good. It's even more impressive when you consider he was playing on a defensive oriented Trotz coached team.

Because of his contract, I bet he would essentially cost nothing in a trade, which is why the Kings probably kicked the tires on him.

If it’s a dirt cheap option then sure I guess.

Pretty meh move imho.

I wouldn't be too stoked on it either.

I think Eberle fits the King's current philosophy of trying to add to the current roster without giving up much in exchange. Low risk moves.

I suspect there's better options are available though.
I know its probably obvious,if it wasn't for the expansion draft, Kings would be more active. Unfortunately you can only protect so many while leaving valuable talent exposed in the expansion draft.

I was hoping to hear some King's buzz.

16 mil tied up in goalies...

There are better options than Quick.

Yes but in terms of cash, you only have to pay Quick 5.5 million (Total, not each year) over the next two years. CHEAP.

The question is whether the Kraken will pay Price his 11 million dollar bonus due in September. They have a real chance to be a tough team like VGK was, maybe better on the back end.

If we don’t trade the #8 overall, I would be perfectly happy with taking Wallstedt, if Hughes has already been selected. It will solidify both our offense and goaltending for years to come, and if Blake could land a young #2 defenseman in a trade, this team is set for awhile.

I think Edvinsson will fall. Hughes, we'll need to move up. I would hold on to the pick until we see who is available.
Also, you would think a move would have to be made via Seattle to get a decent D man. We'll see.
