Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I posted similar elsewhere but to me this is a 'show me' contract--is he the dude that gave us 30 points from mostly the bottom line? Because that's excellent production to go with all his other bottom six skills (speed, tenacity, puckhounding, vision). Or is he the dude who crashed last year and didn't even give us a 20 point pace in a higher role?
Hard to complain either way until we see what he shows us this year. If your 4C is giving you 30 points, that's top tier production. Even at 20 from the bottom he's very good.

Luc and Rob are a waste of time and money.
This is hopefully a one time transaction for Uncle Phil to personally gain some liquidity because of set backs coming out of the pandemic. If we see future moves where AEG corporate divests it’s interests in sports teams it owns and operates, there should be raised uncertainty for Kings fans.

Yeah, hard to tell if it's a one-off or a harbinger...but I think a lot of us expected the latter MUCH sooner so while it wouldn't necessarily be surprising it would be cause for a scare with the current state of the franchise.
That being said I'd love to see AEG's books right now. My god, like yes they took massive losses last year, but the money they're getting coming out of the pandemic has to be absolutely insane. EVERYTHING is marked up, even more with reduced capacity (though I guess then you take the tradeoff with fewer concessions etc...). I know there are lots of moving parts and I'm not going to pretend they aren't/weren't hurting, but money printer go brrrrr when things aren't in a pandemic.

The only thing that would keep him on the roster if someone else beat him out is the 1 way part of the contract. He can be sent down without hurting the actual cap. Depending on what the Kings add, he isn't a problem, but if nobody with more presence can't take his job, that would be a problem.

I can never tell if people are joking or if they're serious when they say stuff like that. Same with sneaking a guy through waivers. Seattle probably already knows who they're taking. A 1 year deal for a nothing player isn't changing anyway.

If Lizotte is on the roster next season anywhere but the fourth line, then that's the fault of every center prospect in the organization for not doing enough to supplant him. Here's a hot tip for our young guys: force your way onto the team.
Kopitar, Byfield, Vilardi, and JAD is pretty solid down the middle. At some point, guys will have to step up and just be better.

The Lakers and clippers still pay rent at Staples center so Phil will probably still be making money off of the Lakers for the rest of eternity and until the clippers build their new stadium
